SI’s Programs
SI provides access to individuals, under certain circumstances and conditions, to use and complete our proprietary stress assessment tools, in particular the Stress Management Questionnaire (SMQ). This policy applies to the SMQ as well as any and all current and future assessment or testing tools we may provide through the assessment software we use to administer SI assessments.

Assessments Purchased by You:
By purchasing access to any and all of SI’s assessment, evaluation or testing tools and applications, you give us the right to use for research and administrative purposes the information you provide in aggregate or de-identified form and, furthermore, we will never share, use, transmit or sell your information to a third party without your permission.
Assessments Provided to You by SI at No Cost:
From time to time, we make assessments available at no cost to certain individuals for use personally or for the evaluation for potential use of our assessments in their programs and services. Under these circumstances you give us the right to use for research and administrative purposes the information you provide in aggregate or de-identified form and, furthermore, we will never share, use, transmit or sell your information to a third party without your permission.
Assessments Completed at the Request of your company or organization:
SI’s assessments and materials are often used in a variety of corporate or organizational stress management, stress resilience, personal development, EAPs and other training and development programs. By participating in such training and development programs where the completion of the SMQ or other assessments are requested by your company, organization, HR department or any other person or entity within your company, you give permission for SI to share your Personal and Non-Personal information, such as the results of your assessment, with the appropriate persons or persons at your company or organization. SI does its best to insure that only the designated person or persons, such as HR Director, Training Manager, or other persons involved in the delivery of said programs, is provided access to your assessment results information.
If you do not want your Personal Information released to the designated person at your company or organization, you must notify SI that you would like your results de-identified and then shared the designated person or persons. Send an email to Privacy@Stressmaster.com with the statement that you want your data or results de-identified.
Hold Harmless
Your company or organization may have Privacy Policies and Procedures that differ from SI that SI may or may not know about or agree with. With regard to the assessment or assessments you have taken from SI, you agree to Hold SI harmless of any acts or omissions with the use of your Personal Information or assessment results that has had negative consequences on you as a result of actions by your company, organization, staff, employees or other third parties with the use, distribution or sharing of any information provided by SI about you.
Transfer Of Business
If there is a change of control in SI’s business (whether by merger, sale, or otherwise), SI may assign or transfer this Privacy Policy and your related Personal Information to any person or entity that acquires or is merged with SI. As part of any such assignment or transfer, the transferee will be subject to applicable laws regarding the collection, use, protection and disclosure of Personal Information. We may notify you by email at the last address shown on our records in the event of any such assignment or transfer.

For example, your information may be aggregated with information of other employees and analyzed to evaluate the effectiveness of our Website, its services and the Software, and the results of that analysis may be shared with third party service providers to help SI improve the Website, its services and the Software, or with employers to allow them to evaluate the success of the SI or the company program.
